The idea that someone is tasting my mail just makes me happier that my mail is bulk, presort/prepaid or postage machine. Plus there’s a recycle bin on the way back from my mailbox.

I don’t mail much these days, but I’m glad I no longer have to lick the stamp. I prefer receiving bills by mail than those flyers.

Good Morning, cleo, sugar, Fellow Baby & the rest of the CD crew!

Thank heavens they invented self-stick stamps and envelopes!

Reminds me of licking the S&H Green stamps. Us kids always got stuck with that fun chore! :^)

Good Morning, Sugie, StelBel, Puppybreath, X-Tech, Grog, & all CD Enthusiasts! Hey there, Tina!

You can still get lickable stamps, but only in weird denominations. Personally I figure that stuff was bad for you anyway. Remember Susan’s (from Seinfeld) horrible Envelope Related Death?

Hated those lickable stamps. Especially at Christmas time when I send out all the cards (yes I still do).

Good Morning Grog, Dry, Cleo, Lonewolf, puppybreath, StelBel & all the CDers out there who still mail things.

No flyers, Cleo? I get more flyers & garbage mail than anything else.

Boy! Do I ever remember licking stamps and envelopes? You bet! I also remember paper cuts on my tongue and lip. When you have a stack of mail that needs licking you tend to try to go a bit faster than your coordination allows and, oops, bloody tongue!

Junk mail!? Got that too. Stacks of it. And now in this modern world, lots more than years ago when licking stamps was all the rage.

Thought I would outsmart the “Junk Mail” demon by using my computer and “going online” with just about every thing. Yeah! That’s the ticket! OK, so now I have to deal with the dreaded “SPAM”! You just can’t win.

It’s an extraordinary day here in the oak forests of Northern Califonia. Crisp, fragrent air, sunshine filtering through the trees, a mama deer and her spotted baby in my yard. Life is good!

A beautiful day to you ((((((Sugie and Tina)))))) and to ((((((Dry and Remus and Romulus???)))))) and to StelBel, Cleokaya, Grog, Comicgos, JP Steve, Shika Mua, Lonewolf, x_Tech, Chikuku, Xane_T, DryGrubWillie, Pumaman and all who venture into our CD community.

You can also use the confetti for cat litter. Especially the political stuff :-P

My best friend lives half way across the country so we write letters to one another, and write slightly odd things on the envelopes for the mail carriers to read like “Just so you know I licked this” .

Fellow Baby, saw your comment at Wizard of Id to me. Thanks! That show was classic. Sure missed “Coach” when he passed away but the show still was good! You know, I watched that show for years before I realized Ted Danson wore a “piece”! LOL! And “Frazier” when it spun off from “Cheers”, oh my! ROFLMAO every week of that show!

Fellow Baby, I loved Frazier! A couple of episodes really stick out in my mind. The one where they went on a road trip in an RV with Daphne and they crossed the Canadian Border, and the one where they reencacted the old radio mysteries when Roz comes into the studio after having been to the dentist with a shot of novacaine. OH and the episode where his agent “quits smoking” because her fiance is a rich Texas oil man I believe, and doesn’t like it, so her and Daphne end up on the balcony fighting for the cig in the rain! You know, that show was kind of like WKRP, don’t you think, Fellow Baby?
