Fellow Baby if Emily were smart, she would learn to love the game! :-D I wonder if they will settle their dispute so we have football this year?

They do appear to be making some progress, Fellow Baby. Now I think it’ll be a question of when the season starts rather than will the season start. At least they’re working harder to get a deal done. Apparently they’ll be working on it some more over the week-end. That’s a good sign.

Fellow Baby, good! Not much to do in winter around here except watch football! I’d be lost without it! :-D

Weird thing happened two or three days ago. I have two bright orange, long haired cats, mom and son (Manya and Shiloh) and they love to wander about the property and do “cat things”. (Not always happy with those things especially when feathers or entrails are found on the back deck)

I had just been petting those two kitties when I came outside. I walked out to the rocky knoll to do some weed pulling when I saw an orange streak and then it ran up the side of the rocky knoll. I thought it was one of mine.

It wouldn’t come to me and kept trying to stay away from me and I concluded that something bad had happened to one of the kitties. I spent the next 45 minutes clambering over rocks trying to catch the kitty and hoping I wouldn’t disturb a rattlesnake in so doing. I finally gave up and went back to the house only to find my two kitties on the porch swing and looking at me quizzically.

Apparently I now have to keep on the watch for another abandoned orange kitty. Drat! We live out in the country. I bet someone dumped the kitty at the river a quarter mile away. They do that even though it is against the law.

I think I will call him “Sebastion”.

Dry, yes I know you have done animal rescues as have others who frequent Citizen Dog. Congratulations, you are a special sort of person and have a very kind and caring heart. That is obvious! (Witness the two foundlings you took in Lil Bit and Lil Bit More)

One of the main reasons I love visiting Citizen Dog is the quality of the people who share my enthusiasm for this comic. You and Sugie, StelBel, Cleokaya and, well, just about everyone, are people to whom I can relate and have real fellow feeling for….even though we have never met and I haven’t the slightest idea what anyone looks like.

But the downside is, I guess I won’t be getting another dog. House is small, and I am running out of room! :-D

What ever happened to that woman who went on and on and on about loving cats in her dating video? I was wondering if she was for real or just looking for attention.
