Worked as a ticket agent at Idlewild (JFK) back in the day (1960). The lines were like that only everyone was going to Miami. We threw luggage it was a hoot.

cleo, since 9/11, I know that I will fly only when I have to. You’ve got to get out to the airport early and after all is said & done, driving may take equal or less time – depending on distance.

I will choose driving to Dallas from where I live, depending on the circumstances.

Fellow Baby did you happen to catch the Packer game? Excellent, IMHO!Sorry about the Cowboys.

Haven’t flown for a few years, certainly before 9/11. Think perhaps, if I have to or want to travel any distance again in a short time span, and time permits, I’ll take AMTRAK! :-D
