(Post holiday tip) Wrap each string around a piece of cardboard an idiot. This prevents tangling and makes lamp replacement next year much easier.

You just have to get the idiot to sit still for 360’ish days!

Ah….the untangling of the light strings — my least favorite holiday tradition!

Howdy StelBel, x_Tech and JP Steve and all the CD’ers taking down their lights and wrapping them around cardboard right now.

We solved the problem by buying a “fake” tree with the lights already on it. Just put it up, plug it in and there it is a pretty tree.

Most of my lighting is also Grog but we thought for Christmas what the heck. Go for it, it’s only a month tops:-P

LED lights, THEY SUCK! Hate the light they give off! I see they have extended the deadline on the plain old light bulbs for another year. Seems the LED energy efficient bulbs have some problems, fire hazards for one thing.
