stel ol’ bel and x_tech, I had to think a little bit there to get the connection from Steve McQueen to the comic…..and then Stel ol’ bel’s shot of McQueen made me say “OHHHHH!”( a light just came on) that was his character’s running gag, so to speak, killing time in the ‘cooler’ by bouncing the ball off the wall . by the way ,I always thought it was out of character for those nasty Germans to let him do that; wasn’t being confined to the cooler supposed to be a punishment?

ok, I confess—- I downloaded both from different sources and combined them into one photo ,then kinda smudged the sky around the plane so that it blended together.now , see, Mightaswellbe, what you said was true , but in an experimental flight the sneaky Nazis armed this particular ME-108 with armor piercing , incendiary shells in its temporarily- mounted cannons placed on each wing. the resultant carnage was deemed to violent for a ‘G’ movie….

Fellow Baby, aside from the traffic & weather issues heading there & back, it was very nice. The weather was perfect from Sunday on. The weather should be nice here for the rest of my vacation.

So Fellow Baby you are back from your “away” vacay but still on vacation? NICE!

But I suppose there’s plenty to do around here that I still don’t want to do.

Fellow Baby I hear ya! I took tmr off for things that need done, which I don’t want to do either! Damned if I would leave my vacay for a dental appt. though!

Welcome back Grog!. I always dread coming back from vacations. I was born to be on eternal vacation. I am at the moment.

Fellow Baby, the dental appointment and the mini-get-away were all planned in advanced. I only needed 4 days away to do what I wanted to do. Besides, it’s not as though I haven’t seen Dallas before.

I can still putz a little with my remaining time off as I did this afternoon.

Well if you planned it all Fellow Baby it is your vacation to do as YOU choose after all! LOL! I avoid doctor and dental appts. on my days off based on principal and the fact I get sick leave for such things. :-)
