Mel should really take Peabody-Martini ‘s advice about getting an air compressor, before attempting to inflate his new house and the rest of the furniture! Rest up, Mel!
1. go to Bing, do search, select an image and LEFT CLICK on it.
2.It will open by itself on a second page. RIGHTCLICK on it, then LEFT CLICK COPY.
3. Go back to comments page and LEFT CLICK a cursor where you want your image to appear.
4. TYPE: <img src=’
5.PASTE the URL immediately after the quote mark
6. then TYPE: ’ width=‘200’(plus the arrow symbol that points right)
.(pay close attention to quote marks: 1 before the URL, and 3 after the URL)
(only ONE space in the whole thing between the img and the src)
7. CLICK SUBMIT
Reasons why it may not work:A. URL is too long or image just may not be available. Choose another.B. Mistake in putting the URL in the comment section. Check it very carefully. I don’t know how many times it didn’t come through for me because I missed one quote mark!)C. If you have “smart quotes”, you need to ask x_Tech or nighthawks what to do. “Smart Quotes” apparently changes the whole code automatically, so if you’re following the directions very carefully and it still doesn’t work, that could be why.
(I tried 4 times to type, using a zillion spaces, the whole thing so that you could see how it looks, but it kept disappearing when I clicked submit! That’s why I typed out the “arrow that points right”. It would have been so much quicker to just point you to the original directions!!! LOL Which, by the way, are:2/13,3/23,3/24,5/10 and possibly, a dozen other places. Whew!!!)
Good morning to all the CD kids out there. Maybe somebody dumped the bucket full of photos out…or maybe you guys used them all?.Mel you must pace yourself..StelBel, how did you find a picture of my house? BTW no cats allowed, I found that out the hard way. :-).Nighthawks, great work with that picture. You usually don’t end up at the predetermined destination anyway.
@ DryI just got this response to an email I sent to Photobucket about the problems I’ve been having. This may or may not help you. I haven’t followed their suggestions yet, but will check them out later this afternoon. I have to go and do errands right now.
“Joey, May 21 10:54 am (MDT): Hello,
Thank you for letting us know about this issue. We’ve done some investigating and most of the users reporting similar problems are using Internet Explorer 8. We’re still working on some fixes, so in the meantime, we ask that you use a different browser or update to Internet Explorer 9. We’re only asking you use a different browser for the time being, while we get site back to normal on IE8. If you’re already using IE9, please try Chrome or Firefox for now.
Update to IE 9: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/products/ie/homeGet Firefox: http://www.mozilla.orgGet Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome
If you are unable to copy your link codes at the moment, and would prefer to not temporarily switch to a different browser, here is a fairly easy workaround:
1. Click your username2. Click Account settings3. Select Album Settings tab4. Select “Always display link options” in the Links section
Now, when you return to your albums, your codes will be displayed underneath your thumbnails. One-click copy won’t work with your links displayed this way. To copy the link codes, double-click them, then right-click and select Copy.
If you are unable to accept our Terms of Use in the updated privacy policy pop-up, please do so in a different browser. We are not authorized to accept the terms on your behalf.
Thanks for your patience. We will post an update to our support homepage at http://support.photobucket.com/home as soon as full functionality in IE has been restored.

StelBel as clumsy as I am, I should live in an inflatable house. Maybe I’ll just start investing in the inflatable furniture. My toes and shins would thank me. ;-)
I’m back Fellow Baby! Talked to a nice young lady named Morgan and she re-set the password. Whole thing took about 30 seconds. Last time I clean the hard disk on this work top!
“Yep, StelBel, the work browser is IE 8. I’ll see what happens when I get home.”………………………………………………………………………………………I’ve got IE8 as well. I am loathe to change it, hating change the way I do. I’ll have to mull it over some.
yes, stel ol’ bel, I did get into photobucket recently, in fact , those pix I threw in here today was via photobucket……..it’s really the easiest way to post pix, the only thing is that the size is kind of a guess, just like you said. so it involves deleting the post and going back into photobucket and adjusting it accordingly.but you know all that
WOW I MADE A POST TO NIGHTHAWKS THAT WAS HERE AND NOW IT ISN’T AND I MADE ONE TO STEL ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, HIT SUBMIT AND IT WAS STILL SITTING IN THE COMMENT BOX!*
BECAUSE OF THAT, I MISSED STELBEL BEFORE SHE SAID GOODNIGHT! DANG IT!
I am supposed to be finishing my homework for tomorrow, so I am going to say good night to Groggy so he doesn’t lose any sleep waiting for me to come back.

Mel’s too old to try that on his own. Also not a good idea to blow up inflatable pools.
