are you guys on the national do not call list?it works for me. i don’t get solicitors of any kind call me.

Do Not Call allows for charities. That is why I asked. And I did get calls from them before I dropped my land line.

Good afternoon Fellow Baby, cleo and sugie and all those on the “Do Not Call List”.

I still get Charity calls and political calls, the credit card recording I hang up on right away. My understanding is that Charities and Political calls are allowed.

I contribute to Eastern Paralyzed Vets (now United Spinal something) and St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, who both solicite me by mail only, and the Special Olympics. Special Olympics solicites by phone, but I don’t mind them calling. It’s only twice a year and I think they do wonderful work with Special needs children.

Actually, I am beginning to enjoy hanging up on these “yahoos”, where as my husband will let them go through their “speil”.

oh yes nighthawks, you may want to ask, “how are hubby and the kids”?

cleo, I don’t have that feature on my current phone, so I have to pick it up to see who it is.

Dry* yes I shortened the name to a more friendly version. Been wanting to do it for a while, but it seemed that I was lacking the computer smarts. Now I know the sign in name and my handle can be different. What can I say…..the school of hard knocks didn’t teach computers. BTW St. Jude is a wonderful organization but if you have your phone # on your checks, they start calling for donations. That happened to my sister, and she gets several calls a week..noicantspell it doesn’t look like your kitty is happy with that mix. :-)
