(the box with the red “x” in it above is an error, but nothing of any import. I used too many exclamation points again — a very bad habit of mine. Sorry.)
The pop-up ads and the rude noisy commercials that I can’t stop work just fine all the time. But the reason I come to this site is to read the comics and you can’t be bothered to make those work right.
i got to a beach.for about 15 minutes…oh, well. better than not at all i guess.i will upload some photos later if i can make the time to do so.i picked mom up after lunch and it’s ben fight, fight, fight, ever since. she doesn’t like me and wants no help from me.she even refused coffee from me.i’m hopeing she will feel better after a little nap.at least i got comics now.
I have spent part of my day drawing cartoons. A friend of mine has written a children’s book and is looking for someone to illustrate it. I have been trying my hand at creating a drawing of an eleven year old boy. These cartoonists certainly make me look like an amateur.
Well I just got into town today To find my girl who’s gone away She took the Greyhound at the General Store I searched myself I searched the town When I finally did sit down I find myself no wiser than before
She said we couldn’t do no wrong No other love could be so strong She locked up my heart in her bottom drawer Now she took my heart she took my keys From in my old blue dungarees And I’ll never go to Texas anymore
[Chorus:] Now my baby’s gone I don’t know what to do She took my love and walked right out the door And if I ever find that girl I know one thing for sure I’m gonna give her something like she never had before
I took her love at seventeen A little late these days it seems But they said heaven is well worth waiting for I took her word I took it all Beneath the sign that said “U-haul” She left angels hangin round for more
[Chorus]I thought I had it all sewn up Our love, a plot, a pick-up truck But folks said she was after something more I never did quite understand All that talk about rockin’ bands But they just rolled my doll right out the door Oh yeah, they just rolled my doll right out the door!
I love Zep, but this is the most lively energetic song I’ve heard from them and totally uncharacteristic. Just plain pure fun. I love it! Judging from their live version on UTube, they have fun doing it.
i drove through Dallas several times during the seven months i went long haul.it was during the summer and the humidity and heat combined was to much for me.for me it was worse than the desert.except of course those times when a monsoon moves in.

(It’s interesting that people are still commenting all over the place, though! And a lot of the comments are quite clever re: absence of comics.)
(Passion flowers from Bing images. Wish I could have posted the whole Bing search page. They’re gorgeous!)

Howdy noicant, Lin Gee, and Carl!

Carl, I pay a membership and have NO COMMERCIALS or background noises. It’s really cheap, only 99 cents a month AND WELL worth it.
However, HAVING SAID THAT, on days like this I feel quite annoyed. Pro status doesn’t mean “diddly squat”!

Not that nice. In my opinion, the Gulf is nature’s pig pen.

I actually prefer being in North Central Texas – specifically Big “D!”
