I may not get much done today. McLintock is on AMC right now. And Hondo follows it.

This brings back memories of 1977 big blizzard in the Buffalo area. We were caught on our street for 5 days. Thank God for the volunteer firemen. They snowmobiled to the store for us when we need them. God bless them.

sugie I remember that one. We had a little MG at the time and we couldn’t find it! Seriously! It was covered in snow.

i never did understand why we stoped going to the moon back in the 70s.

yes.saw the whole tv series also.i had the book also, but lost it at some time in the past.

I never saw the T.V. series happy, or if i did, only one or two. But I’d love to see it sometime. some of those things are so interesting.

@happy, don’t get me started! The moon program was abandoned for the usual political reason — the other party got elected, so rather than admit their opponents had done good, the program was declared a disaster and dropped “with exterme prejudice.”

Here in Canada we’ve seen the Avro Arrow jet, Bras d’Or hydrofoil and Fastcat ferry similarly trashed.

Peanuts is the starting point of my cue.C.S. was, hands down, the best.and i agree.it was dismantled to prove “frugality”.
