As you may have seen me RANT before, I was hard pressed when the Packers and Cowboys played because I loved them both. Jerry Jones DESTROYED the COWBOYS!

Jones can’t live forever. The single best thing he can do as an owner is sell it or die.

Fellow Baby, sorry but I remember that day with Tom Landry being interviewed. He tried to blow it off, but I could see the hurt in his eyes. He was an honorable respectable man and the least Jerry Jones could have done was to tell him face to face, instead of Mr. Landry having to find out through the media. Then he sidelined Tex Schramm. You don’t do that to people who have built a dynasty. You at least owe them some respect. Then Jerry hires his SO CALLED friend Jimmy Johnson. Fires him not soon after.

Fellow Baby, YOU HAVE NO IDEA how big a Cowboy fan I was, and how much what that Bas—— did really hurt! I’ve learned since then, I like my team, been a BIG BRETT fan, BIG BRETT fan, still a BIG Packer fan, but I will never get sucked in like that again.

Under Tex Schram, the Cowboys won 2 Superbowls but lost 3. As much as I hate him Jones is 3-0.

Maybe so, but back then, the COWBOYS won or lost WITH DIGNITY! And back then, the Cowboys were America’s Team because Tom Landry led the team WITH DIGNITY! And Roger Staubach, another GENTLEMAN, worthy of MUCH respect!

Jerry Jones is another pasty faced money grubbing pig just like Ted Thompson! And don’t even get me going in that direction!

Toward the end Landry appeared to be losing his edge. He wasn’t so much the innovator he was earlier. In fact he lost to the Rams who weren’t as good – just more innovative on defense in the Championship game. Years that followed were even worse. It was time for Landry to go….but it’s unfortunate to an extent that it took a new ownership with no heart (as new ownerships are) to figure that out. I wish they could and would be with Romo.

And I don’t? That’s why I loved the Raiders almost as much for their “Just win, Baby” attitude.

Yes, he wasn’t as good as in his younger days, AND ANY DECENT MAN, would have handled that situation with a bit more class AND THE RESPECT THAT MR. LANDRY DESERVED! The Cowboys will never be what they were, unless a whole new regime takes over.

Unfortunately, it’s time for me to turn out the lights before the party’s over. Good night!
