I have no problem with camping, as long as I am not sleeping on the ground. A mug of hot coffee next to the morning fire is a pleasant way to slowly wake up.
I knew one of the actors in STNG. I met him at a Gospel event and then a few times in person. He also played Simbaās dad in Lion King years ago when it was live theater.
Star Trek, followed by Voager followed by Enterpirse. STNG is dead last. DS9 is not in my collection with the exception of a follow up on the the original Trouble With Tribbles as a bonus feature to the original series collection, I believe.
At the time, it was the newest form of Star Trek. Many of the shows were good and interesting in the early going. Voyager started off slow, but finished strong. I feel the same way about Enterprise. it finished strong and didnāt have as many duds. Voyager became a lot more interesting with the addition of 7 of 9.
I donāt have any favorite shows, except the early sitcoms. When I was younger, shows like Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock interested me.Also Perry Mason, come to think of it. Ironside, not so much.
When my mohair died back in ā05, Voyager and Alfred Hichcock Presents occupied my sleepless nights/early morning hours while I was settling Momās estate.
I can just imagine sleepless nights, although I never had to settle my dadās estate by myself, and my mother is still alive.Did you read last night that my friendās mother died suddenly last night? She emailed to say that her mom was not well. An hour later, she was dead. I still donāt know when the funeral is yet.
Family deaths are never easy. I feel for those who have lost both parents. They say it is a very lonely feeling, as we all here know now.I am dreading that day. My mother is 87 years old.
I havenāt seen all those. But I did see some. Did he do the Pit and the Pendulum, or is that Edgar Allen Poe? A\lso, The Telltale Heart, among others. I used to read those stories and scare my self silly.
May favorite Hitchcock movies were the earlier ones like The 39 ?Steps, the original Man Who Knew Too Much, Suspicion, Saboteur, Rebecca, Stranger On A Train, Notorious, Jamaica Inn, Sabotage and _Secret Agent.
I actually never did check out yesterdayās comments, Shika. Sorry for your friendās mother. I hope at least that your mother is still is in good health. Mine died at 79.
Ouch. Those salt mines hurt. I just have a meeting tomorrow, then off to the hospital to visit my friend.Iām going to get ready for bed now. Itās been nice talking to you Grog. Have a good nightās sleep.
We are watching āHow To Murder Your Wifeā with Jack Lemmon, Virna Lisi and Terry Thomas. I have probably watched it four or five times but LilG has never seen it.

GROG Premium Member about 12 years ago
I remember Sad Sack from my youth, but I have not seen a strip in such a long time.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
Thanks for the big hug Jkiss. I needed that. I may need more in the coming weeks.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
Iāve heard of Sad Sack, but I canāt say I remember what he looks like, Grog.
GROG Premium Member about 12 years ago
Since tonight is like Sunday for me, Shika, tonight is my Star Trek night. 4 STNG and one original series for the night cap.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
Why is tonight like Sunday for you Grog?
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
Which do you prefer? Star Trek, or STNG?
GROG Premium Member about 12 years ago
Neither can I, Shika. I may have had one of the comic books when I was a kid, but I no longer have it or the memory of the characters.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago

I only watch one of the DS9 series. I really did not like it at all.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
I donāt blame you. No sense wasting time on a show you hate. It makes sense to watch the first ones to see how they are.

I didnāt like Perry Mason, but Iāve got all the original Twilight Zone and recently purchased the first 3 seasons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
