you shoulda seen the spud-cannon the navy fire dept. in portsmouth built one year. 1/2 mile (fairly accurate. sorta) average range. built out of sewer pipe, with a gas grill ingiter.
spin open the plug on the base of the ¨chamber¨, spin it closed, Snap, kerWHOOMP! they cut a couple feet off it, because they were afraid it might lob off-base and hit someoneś house or something…..
