Soup is the answer to most of what hurts in life. Hang on the the person who makes you soup. They are very valuable indeed.

“Including Clillian” … try to say that ten times, quickly….
but honestly, I hope you’ll come back to join us, even though I know you commented ten years ago.
We’re a pretty nice bunch… I think so, anyway…and I’m going to try to get Gerald to share some of that soup.
He’s quite the Souper Trooper, isn’t he?
But you never do know when a bowl of chicken noodle will be just the thing.
Hope you have the low salt kind, Gerald.
Hey, I have one of those. But mine carries cans of beer.
As to “The Wrong Basset”, how could there be a wrong basset? They’re all so lovable, how could any of them be wrong?
“An Innocent Basset Has Nothing to Fear” Indeed this is a Hitchdog classic. Guilt everywhere even when you have done nothing. Nice creepy poster, Stel!
The hoomins of course had their shot at it too:

Another Hitchdog!
Yay!
This one is freaky, though… not cos it’s scary, on purpose….
but because it’s about a poor innocent doggie accused of things he didn’t do.
Just look at Henry Hounda’s soft, innocent eyes.
I agree with Farside… hard to think of any basset being being the wrong one….
especially with Hounda’s sweet face.
But in this case, being the wrong one is a good thing…
it would mean another dog was actually guilty.
But you know how dogs are…. just look at your dog as though he’s guilty of something, and he’ll act like it’s true.
And Henry Hounda’s big sad eyes made him look guilty anyway….
no spoilers….. but let’s just say that wasn’t helpful….
especially for the effect of the trial on his loving mate…. the always beautiful, silky-furred Vera Kibbles.
You’ll need a large bucket of kibblecorn and a box of Kleenex to get through this one!
Perhaps not, but the wife will never be the same again.
Nothing grips me like a strong desire for bacon.
Pretty cool poster, Stel. Never saw the movie, but from all the comments, it’s a one of Hitchdog’s best. It looks quite ominous……brrrrrrr!
(I still see an earring when I glance at the poster!)
I dunno, I don’t like the look in Henry Hounda’s eyes… kinda shifty, not like an innocent basset at all!
ALL bassets are innocent, whether they are or aren’t. At least, that’s what Nighthawks tells me….
