Another fine day for a walk….

We’re following behind Hugh and Angela, for at least as far as they’re heading in the same direction….

I did ask them to join us….

and not, as you may think, just so our whole walk would be free of insects and biological debris.

I do have to admit that it is the reason I’m following behind them now…..

but it really would be nice if they joined the group.

Hugh is very kind…. as you can tell by what he’s doing for Angela…

and she’s very nice too… just a bit squeamish about some life forms.

It’s always good to have a few more people in the forum….

sometimes a few of us seem to do all the talking.

I know there are more of you lurking out there….

some who give (much appreciated) “likes” but seldom or never say a word.

Come on out and play!

We welcome everybody’s contributions.

We even talk to Sloop and he hasn’t been seen in ten years.

Surely you have as much to say as Hugh and Angela.

Cleo’s role is groundbreaking, a role model for female mad scientists of the future!

If you are NOT tired of Rocky Horror references. The lips are Magenta’s (Patricia Quinn) but I don’t know if that is her voice. I have seen a version where she sings it in character, very different.

Wow… the original Frankenbasset….

A gorgeous poster for such a scary film.

Boris Curloff in layers of green makeup…. his fur must have been horrible to deal with after a day on the set.

And the beautiful Mae Bark.

Such a sweet face….. and such a pretty, silky costume.

I love the clothes of that era….

love to picture myself vamping in a dress like that, even though actual basset gowns are much too short for me.

Dr. Frankenstein,himself, isn’t even pictured on the poster for his eponymously named film.

Of course…. even though Collie Clive is a handsome dog,

the movie-going canine public’s interest was more aroused by a huge green basset and a beautiful female.

Did you know the humans made a copy of this?

Look, how silly….

They just do NOT have the power to create such awe…..

Before I go…..

Dennis…. those are indeed Patricia Quinn’s lips…

but the voice is pure Richard O’Brien.

He wrote the human version of the stage musical, and played Riff-Raff.

Or was it a monster who made a basset?
