    Welcome, everybody!

We’re meeting here at the Farbers to post our comments on

the June 15th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can read on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

OMG, Everett… please listen to Ruby!

I hope you’ll remove that thing before everybody gets here!

Whatever you think you did, it can’t be that bad….

and even if you really think it is…

the point is to teach yourself not to do it again.

Come on… have a cup of my very strong cocoa….

as my Dad used to say…. it’ll put hair on your chest….

and you can look those problems right in the eye,

    and carry on.

Looks like Everett has an acute case of cranial clampsia.

I just stopped by to bookmark the page for tomorrow a.m., and see that Everett probably had a glass of pickled sea-weed and doesn’t feel a thing.

Cleo is cute on four legs. Haven’t seen that in a while.

I see that the talking scale is back again as the villain. I think a nice place for it might be just outside the front door. Sort of an unwelcome mat.

Time to take that scale to a road construction site and let a steam roller give it a lesson in manners.

Wow… I leave for a while, and what happens?

The mean talking scale is back…. and nastier than ever…

and Everett hasn’t unclamped his head.

Sigh…. I guess I should have stayed, and tried to do something.

I guess I couldn’t have done much about the scale….

after all, Clara did order it…. so I guess it’s up to her whether or not to keep it.

Personally, I’d ship it out in the next UPS pick-up….

or maybe Priority Mail…. just so it’s gone.

I do have to say, to Nighthawks and StelBel …. (remember her? She used to hang out here…..)

that the animation in today’s strip is great.

I would think that this one and the previous one would have been drawn one right after the other….

but today’s looks smoother, and more polished, as though it’s later work.

Is that possible? Or is it just that practice does make perfect?

I think this might be my favorite drawing of Cleo ever….

those big questioning eyes, and hesitant tail wags, make her look like a real basset…

    and very sweet.

(To which I should add: Don’t be fooled.)

Wouldn’t you love to melt that scale down in some molten lead.

Uncle Fester found doing that quite soothing.

A 12 foot tall Claude? Would he be 12 times more annoying with his puns? (Inquiring minds).

Thanks for a new animation, Nighthawks and StelBel. Love the motor mouth of Acme’s Talking Scale. Do we dare hope for more of him? Loved Cleo’s wagging tail.
