Is it Cleo Hood? Or Maid Cleo? I guess the latter’s more likely. That would make our archer Robin Hound.

Marvin keeps on hoping; Marcia keeps on hopping.

(Well, somebody had to say that.)

And I keep on showing up, to welcome you and provide a link to tonight’s “Cleo and Company”, on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    A little late, yes…. but I’m here….

and we’ve come to Marcia and Marvin’s house, to join them in commenting on the July 21st, 2018 strip…

and to solve the Saturday “Find the Differences” puzzle!

Marcia’s going to have a hard time with that part, if she doesn’t settle down.

It’s hard to solve a puzzle while jumping on a pogo stick, whether or not you’re crushing walnuts at the same time.

It’s up to her, of course…. she’s always been a bit hyperactive, as well as devil-may-care.

    Marvin will solve it, though.

He was always the more serious type… I think he was originally drawn to her wild, impetuous side….

in fact, he still is…. but sometimes he just can’t quite understand it.

    Here’s my side-by-side….

have one of Marcia’s walnut and chocolate chip brownies (or two) …

    and happy puzzling!

I suppose I should hop to it and post the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

I would strongly suggest that you abstain from peering at the gif ere youv’e spied all nine lest you face a rain of cloth-yard shafts, with their points of piercing steel.

I think I set a new personal best on this particular nine hole course. I don’t actually time myself, but for the times I’ve found them all this felt like the fastest. Don’t know why. Even without SUSAN’S side-by-side, to which I normally have to go. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.

    I don’t know what my hang-up is, I only got 8.

    Again!

    Harrumph!

This was a really good puzzle today, NH. I do love puzzles! It’s what keeps this ole brain from walking through that portal of forgetfulness!

Not Fair! I found the nine easily on Nighthawk’s strip, then when I double-checked on Susan’s side-by-side I could only find eight! (and I’m not telling which screamingly obvious one I lost…)

since the old scalawag is doing his ‘Deliverance’ impression we’re going to have to do without his heralded ‘Non Solution Solution’

    a pity
