Neal, there is no point in worrying about what you cannot control. Hence, you have nothing to worry about.

I see that our beloved Cleo favors the field events. This is probably wise, as bassets are built for comfort, not for speed.

Cleo had a near miss (you can take that either way). I just hope that was not a Hopper in the destroyed frame.

Sloop and Marg, good to see you again. Your comments still make sense in 2018. But Sloop, you cast a broad brush. I would not consider Ballard Street, of all comics, part of the mainstream media. It is very far out of the mainstream.

Neal’s last thought before getting religion. (Christian, Muslim, Hindu, who knows?)

Well, I wonder why Susan’s not here. Could it be that she is signing a deal for a Cannabis business to compete with me on Ballard Street? Or is she training Bassets for the upcoming Bassequatic Games? Who knows?

Claude should be grateful that Cleo is into the javelin. I’m sure that it’s a very lucrative sport that more than pays for itself, right?

Not only did Cleo break the painting/mirror, but she busted that charming designer lamp shade! The horrors!

Don’t worry Neal, you are not the only one!!! & I bet Cleo can cause just as much mayhem when she tries badminton!!!

Now, Claude, why would you think Cleo would settle for a nice, safe sport or anything else?
