    Hi everybody!

It’s been a long couple of weeks… but things are slowly getting back to normal….

and I’m finally able, tonight, to find us a place to post our comments on

the July 8th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Most of you know how to find it on Sherpa… but for anybody who’d like a link…

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

I’m not sure I’m up to a visit to a new place tonight….

would it be OK if we went to my pie shop?

You can all have a slice on me….

I especially recommend the blueberry, or the blueberry cream (it has a graham cracker crust, a layer of pudding under the berries, and whipped cream on top)…

Blueberries are in season, huge and sweet.

But of course, we have all kinds of pie…. and if I say so myself…. all delicious.

Even the kinds I wouldn’t make for myself, like rhubarb, pecan, and key lime…. but other people say they’re good…. and they’re very popular.

If you pass Vernon on the sidewalk…. don’t be afraid.

He may look kinda…. um…. I’d hate to say “weird” …. let’s go with “intimidating.”

But from what I hear, he’s very spiritual, and the worst he will do is try to have a rather confusing discussion about such matters…

you can just say “Gottta run.”

Vernon, your symbols are weighty. I hope you find some support on Ballard Street. But frankly, once Sparky and Thunder see you, you will lose your sackcloth and be down to a loincloth, if you are lucky.

Susan, I have missed your pies. Put me down for Marionberry.

Vernon appears to be doing penance. I don’t know for what. But it’s safe to say that he finds meaning in suffering.

The C and Co. movie poster absolutely has me sold on seeing it. One question, though: What kind of dog does a basset have for a pet?

Oh my goodness!! What a delightful movie poster, Stel.!!!!! Cleo is so cute in her little dress and ruby red slippers. And look at how high the corn is! This must be Kansas!

A good basset, of course. Beautiful poster – lots of great detail.

I have to say it was so good to see Cleo and Company after both the 2018 and 2008 Ballard Streets. They are both waaaaay out there today.
