Cleo, in my University we had to go through the Human Subjects Review Committee for research on people. I am pretty sure this would not have been approved. So we never would have learned of the “suspension of Gravity” effect.
So, do you have a practical application for this discovery?

Signs point to ‘yes’.

Hm. Edwin did not mark Stephanie with a MINE sign, even though he gave her a BE MINE valentines candy in February. Not a good sign.

Edwin’s behavior reminds me of Alice’s in the Cul de Sac strip. Alice’s excuse is that she is four years old. What’s yours, Edwin?

Not only would there be a suspension of gravity, but Claude would also make sure that there was a vanishing of kibble.

Hi everybody….
I feel like I’ve been swimming upstream to get here tonight….
My computer was running really slowly…. then my internet connection went down…. when it came back, Firefox updated…. which took forever.
At last…. I could click the shortcut for “My Comics”…
but it went to the so-called GC blog, instead, and I had to sign in. Normally I stay signed in all the time.
After that, suddenly, I couldn’t reach any comics pages, only error messages.
Are those the plaintive notes of violins I hear?
Well…. I’m not finished…. hold your sympathy and tears….
Finally, GC pages started opening… incredibly slowly…
I managed to comment on Brevity…
but elsewhere, I saw the Featured Comment, but the strip was just a grey square….
The Show All Comments buttons didn’t work.
And Cleo opened on yesterday’s, so I thought there wasn’t a new one!
I gave up and rebooted my computer….
GoComics made me sign in again. But I got here!
Everything is still really slow…. but …. hurrah! ….
I can see today’s strip…. the Sept 9th 2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”, that is….
at http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
and read everybody’s comments here.
Now…. sigh…. I’m almost too tired to post.
But…. I would say the result, Cleo, would be a temporary (or possibly permanent) suspension of something else….
Your license to experiment.
I hope you realise the gravity of the situation.
As for Edwin…
It could be as simple as Stephanie’s new kitchen decoration….
You remember… the cute ceramic plaque her sister sent her last week for her birthday.
She bought it cos the blue flowers around the edge matched their curtains.
and in the middle it says “Stephanie’s Kitchen.”
Maybe Edwin is just pouting.

That’s Two (count ‘em TWO!) exclamation points in Panel 6!!
P.S. Three if you count the one in Panel 5
P.P.S. But who’s counting?
P.P.P.S. I sure do seem to be P.S.ing a lot today
P.P.P.P.S. At least this is an original comment, not a rerun*
* That’s a swipe at you, NH**
** When I swipe, I swipe with asterisks, I don’t P.S.
(Don’t say it. I’ll say it for you. WHOOOOOSH!!!)

Purely in the interest of scientific research and experimentation…….Does that mean she can do anything? Flame thrower? Bazooka? Abrams tank?
Scientific minds want to know!
(BTW, Cleo looks so dignified in her scientific costume)

Has Stephanie considered that Edwin might be marking the location of his explosive devices?
