I’ve never been able to manage that one - I’m too impatient! I just want to get there and get it over with!!!

If you don’t enjoy the journey, the destination might let you down.

Susan, I don’t think Barry will be home with Lainey in time for our gathering. I think he may take off his shoes and socks, and go wading in that little stream, losing track of time.

Anyway, I got the nine fairly quickly tonight, so I can go to bed in peace. But if you have pie up for breakfast, count on me to come sniffing around.

    Well, hello, everybody!

Hi Dennis…. and have you other guys been waiting ten years just to do a “Find The Differences” puzzle?

In that case, you’re in luck….

there’s one today, in the Jan 26th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can read on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

and then, along with everybody else dropping by……

You can solve it.. and we’ll all discuss it right her!

    I’ve made a side-by-side….. here you go:

    Have fun!

I am sooo glad to realise that our view of Barry isn’t what I thought it was at first.

That’s the slit in his jacket, and neither the seam in his pants…. nor… um…. a lack of pants.

    Whew!

Thanks Dennis… and yeah, I figured.

    Lainey feels the same way….

She’s coming along with me now… we’ll meet you all at the Tiki…..

and sure…. I’ll stop and get plenty of pie from my bakery next door.

A blueberry, an apple… and how about a banana cream?

Unlike Barry I’m not up a tree about posting the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

    sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ ⚐ ⚐ ⚐ ⚐ HONOR OUR COURAGEOUS POSTAL WORKERS! ⚐ ⚐ ⚐ ⚐ ᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ

Saturday “Whistle While You Work” Non Solution

       1.  Top panel: Mailman is whistling “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from Funny Girl. Bottom Panel: Mailman is whistling off key.

       2.  Top: Mailman’s hat is standard U.S. Postal Service issue pith helmet. Bottom: Cheapskate C&C producers refuse to pay for mailman’s pith helmet – steal prop from Flying Saucers from Outer Space (1951) instead.

       3.  Top: Letters in mailman’s hand include rare Publisher’s Clearinghouse “You Could Be A Winner!” notification. Bottom: Letters actually addressed to house across the street.

       4.  Top: Green bush provides perfect cover for impending ambush. Bottom: Green bush provides perfect backdrop for Creator to surreptitiously insert his surname (complete with fancy-schmancy “Look-At-Me!” “I’m-All-That!” oversized circle-ie dot over the “i”).

       5.  Top: Cleo’s bullhorn found in abandoned prop storage room from Police Academy 1. Bottom: Bullhorn is actual horn stolen from ’57 Studebaker.

6-9.  Highly technical. Only MontanaLady, who leads multiple lives as navigator, snow bunny and nurse; Perkycat, whose new Motto is Grab This; SHE MC, who is in our thoughts and prayers; margueritem, who’s wondering, "Why the hell do they call it a “pith” helmet?"; SusanSunshine, who stays up way late or gets up way early (I forget which); StillTheBelle, who said poop this week; and the mysterious katina.cooper, who should tell us about herself so I’ll have more to write about here in the infamous 6-9 section, would understand.

Yahoo! Two Saturdays in a row!!!! Unbelievable! Perfect score! (something must be wrong) I know, NH made this easy just to get me comfortable, and next Saturday he’ll zap me as usual.

I don’t remember ever seeing “The Postman Always Jumps Twice” before, so a double treat for me — a new comic and getting all nine!
