Awwww… Does widdle Cweo hab new Vawentine’s Day cwose?
And widdle bootie-wooties to keep her toesy-woesies warm in da snow?
Is she a widdle cootie pie?
LOL!
Yikes! No biting!
Sheesh… Where’s your sense of humor, Cleo?
I see…. you must have thrown it out with the bag that sweater came in.
Ha ha.
Luckily, it went in the recycle bin, not the garbage…
we can get it back when we get home and get you undressed.
Hahaha.
Here in Northern California, where everybody shivers at 50°, and wears down jackets at 42°, actual below-freezing temps are popularly regarded as life-threatening… and almost never seen before maybe 11pm.
(You can add 10 or 15 degrees to all those temps in Southern California, where, in defiance of nature, they freeze solid below 40° )
But you still see a few hardy souls of every age defying the local perception of the weather.
I had a young neighbor from Minnesota, transferred here for his job.
His wife and two preschool daughters soon became quite Californian, in their reactions to the cold.
He always wore shorts and tank tops, and drove the family car with the windows rolled down, laughingly ignoring their pleas for heat.
You notice that Cleo has to wear that (cute) sweater set. What is Claude wearing? I’ll bet there are hearts all over his undies, too! He should be made to wear them on the outside of his slacks! Love this today, NH!
When you are out and about, I will be the one so bundled up so you have no idea who I am. But, more likely you won’t see me because I will be in my nice, warm house!

Yes, I’d say that it’s time to put the trampoline away for the night.

the coloring isn’t right but my guess would be a Jack Russell Terrier.

What dog wouldn’t hate that coat and hat? Probably doesn’t care too much for the booties either.

I see kids all the time wearing shorts during sub-freezing temperatures. I want to ask them one of two things.
1) Have you got $%!# for brains?
2) Who are you impressing?
It’s even worse when you see it on their parents.

Aw, Cleo, you are so cute in those hearts!

Lumpy needs to get his ya-yas out. Are you going to take him for a run?
Lumpy seems to have the same tendency to a rectilinear posterior that is common among the humans on Ballard Street.

Claude wishes he was a few years younger so he could walk around without a coat.

True story: I had a client who changed his will because his granddaughter brought a kid by the house who was wearing his hat on backwards.

When we had the -55F wind chill last month, I had to put on 2 sweatshirts. I only zipped one, tho.
Shorts? Not any more. And I stopped riding motorcycles in the winter 20 years ago.
