I don’t know margueritem, but believe it or not, I know people like this. When I retired, I took a stance. Unfortunately, my wife did too. My stance is not quite as sedentary as I had planned.
I LOVE today’s poster, Stel. All those glittery sparkles!! And the accent colors on her makeup match her dress to a T. (In this case, to a P). (like in “P_ r _ l _ e”!!!!)

This is one of those “weird old duffer” things, isn’t it?

Obviously he is making frames for hammocks so he can finally enjoy his leisure time and make a little money on the side.

I just figured it out. He’s using the cement blocks strapped to his feet to bend the bars. I think they are supposed to be hammock stands, berkleyb.

He has an ample supply of raw material to work with, too.

Amazing how Cleo and Company always has the glittery posters. Parahound Pictures has never managed that.
And I love the lip gloss. What color would you call that, Nighthawks?

Hi everybody….
Tonight we’re posting our comments on
the Mar26th 2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”
A beautiful basset fairy (!), on a poster by StelBel…
It’s on Sherpahttp://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
I have to admit that I said all this not too long ago…… so I hope you’ll permit me to repeat some of it.
This is, after all, one of my favorites…. being a fan of fairies and dainty bassets and flowers and glitter….
And oooh…. Elisha Currbert!
I’m unfamiliar with her… but what a delicate little thing she is…. for a basset hound…
And so sparkly!
And she looks good in…you know…purp….um…. lavenderish.
And her nose is so shiny!
Oh… I do remember that when you showed us this poster before, I looked and looked for a human version, to no avail.
Then I found one done as an art project….
Apparently an art student saw the basset movie,
and decided to create a poster just to show what it might have looked like with a human star…

She’s okay…. but she’s just no basset., is she?
Ron, BTW, seems to me to be handling retirement just fine.
Unless you want to quibble about jumping off 5 and 1/2 foot ladders, wearing cement blocks on his feet, onto unsecured iron bars …
and call that somehow mishandled.
Barb is a bit worried about it… but she admits the income from the handlebars is a nice addition to his 60% retirement pay.
(Just between you and me… they get social security, too, so don’t get out the hankies just yet.)

Some people handle it better than others.

Good morning Balladeers and Miss Susan! She knows how to get me here, unless that was just a coincidence! LOL!

Having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of a fluttering, flitting, basset.
