Whenever my dog wants a change of scenery she goes over and visits several neighbors she has set up in her queue.

This was a tour de force for Natalie Porhound and director Darren Arfarf! It had me sitting in the front row munching bags of buttered kibble throughout the whole movie. I have to admit that I howled softly a few times. Five paws up!

    Welcome, everybody!

Hope you make it here, Shika… I left you a lot of instructions yesterday.

Good to see you back, BRI-NO-MITE….

and yes, by going back 10 years, we can gather here.

Tonight’s gathering is for commenting on

the May 9th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    It’s on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Of course, we also tend to mention the Ballard Street Strip….

after all, we’re mostly Ballad St fans, as well….

and Jerry Van A’s space is hosting our Cleo forum, after all.

Farside…. I’m so glad you saw the Black Basset Swan, and can review it….

I didn’t … I was afraid it would be too scary for me.

But I did see clips, and the trailer…. they called it a psychological thriller…. so I stayed away.

I do know Natalie Porhound and Mila Canis had to practice hard for this one…

I watched some clips of the dancing.

I heard they had “ballet doubles” for some of it…

But just to see any basset’s en pointe… amazing!

Even professional “basseterina” (?) stand-ins deserve a round of applause as well.

Arabesques and leaps are so difficult for them…

without having “Balanchine bodies”, they need allongé just to do it.

Brava, Mademoiselles! All of you! Brava!

I heard humans copied this film….

Looking for the poster, I found this one…. but it has no dancers!

    Oh…. OK….. here it is!

Gosh…. just look at that scrawny little thing.

Nowhere near as impressive as a basset.

It would blow away in the slightest breeze.

As for Howard, above, with “Scooter”….

I can understand being fooled by the weight….

But you’d think he’d notice that there was no attempt being made to follow.

The rock though, is just about equal to the real Scooter in its level of obedience…. so I guess he’s just gotten used to a bit of drag on the leash.

Lest I forget…. Hi, back atcha, Dry.

And “Hi” everybody else I didn’t mention by name… cos I’m sorry, but I have so much else to write, I just can’t keep it up!

Oh…. and Nighthawks…… to stretch it waaaaay beyond anything it’s worth…… not hard when it started at zero….

You didn’t understand "it starts with G….

    and it’s (shhh…) …… ɥsɹʍɐƃ" ?

LOL…. cos you can’t read upside down ?

    Or cos you’re …. hyuck… hyuck… gawrsh…. hoo hoo…. not a fan of my hero…. Goofy?

Maybe that Black Basset Swan can dance on the desks of the people who said they were gonna fix Sherpa last year and then, this year, and then next year. Maybe she can also get Ballard Street back up and running.

ahhhh , the light of knowledge has made things crystal clear…..

good ol’ Goofy……as a kid , every time Goofy did the “YAAHHHH HOO HOO HOO!” sound when he fell off a cliff or something——

every single time it made me LOL uncontrollably

Another movie I never saw. Good grief! I watch tons of movies, but…………….

Stel, your are so brilliant when you create this posters. The names alone are so creative! Darren ArfArf. Cool.

(I did see Susan’s Black Swan with Tyrone Power. Love that mustache!)
