Yes, they deserve some of the blame too. The way they granted those funds with practically no control was incredibly risky.
Now it looks like the financial institutions learned nothing from the mess they were allowed to make and walk away from. Money-grubbing pond scum didn’t have the decency to wait a little more before giving themselves uber-bonuses again. Hopefully they will at least pay back most of the money they were given.
