Rick: Joanie? Hi, I've been trying to reach you for the last hour. Joanie: I was talking to J.J.... Noise: Clik, clik! Rick: Do you want to get that? Joanie: No! Jeff: Mom. Why didn't you answer your cell? I was out of chips! Joanie: I was on the phone with your father. Jeff: But you have call-waiting! Joanie: The last-shall-be-first function? Never use it. Jeff: Why not? What if the call's important? Joanie: More important than showing respect for the person I'm already talking to? Jeff: Well, yeah! Joanie: Okay, so that's my phone ringing. If I'm you, I answer it, right? Even if it interrupts our conversation? Jeff: Right. Joanie: It's from you. Jeff: I had my phone on redial.... hold on, I got another call.
