my local paper decided to eliminate the first three panels of sunday’s doonsbury. I guess we had to make room for an equally sized ONE panel blowup of that far right rant:’mallard fillmore’ …. liberal media , my @ss

I have never commented on Doonesbury but as a 2 war Vet I have done this conv before and really admire what Gary has done covering life after war. Bravo Zulu Gary.

My wife’s grandnephew - who got back from Iraq a few months ago - talks like that. When I saw the cartoon I started to search the net to get the definitions (yes it needs footnotes). But somebody called “Doctor What” under SNAKE OIL had a alternative universe story novel that uses exactly those quotes…and I mean exactly. This was posted on April 19…are Doctor What and Gary Trudeau the same person? or is something else going on here….

I confess, tcambeul, they got away. There were three of them, and when I stepped toward them, they scattered to the winds. I had had it up to here with violence by the time I stepped off of the plane, so did not give chase.
