Comics are indeed a great educational resource. Thanks to Archie and Phantom and Batman for teaching me so many cool words growing up :-p

Amen!! “Superman” taught me what the word “invulnerable” means.

Tales from the Crypt taught me anatomy.

Richie Rich taught me…uh…nothing.

Gweedo, you are right I never saw Richie Rich like an adult ;-)

Casper was Richie Rich!! Wow I learned something today.

Caspar and Richie belong to the same continuity; I’m sure that they must have been in the same room together at some point.

There was a cross over comic between Richie, Casper (who was cold and turned pink from warmth), and Wendy The Witch. It’s gone now. And my idiot parents poorly packed a lot of older comics. So much for my Superman/girl Tandy comics.

Harvey Comics lost all their copyrights back in the ’40s because they didn’t publish the proper notices in their comic books and on film. Casper and all his friends are in public domain.

Wonder Woman taught me about invisible planes, and Katy Keene taught me all about fashion ‘don’ts’.

I remember Boulderdash. It wasn’t a very good game.

A lot of the manga I read told me that nerds are just as likely to have relationships as jocks.
