Andy: All I can say is I will be so glad when my mother finally leaves. Roger: Andy, you shouldn't talk like that, your Mother is great. Andy: Hmmmph. Roger: Besides, you shouldn't grumble out loud- she might hear you. Andy: She just went outside to hand Christmas lights with Peter. I doubt that even Ms. Perfect can do that in five minutes. Grandma: Actually, it took only four. Andy: Mom! Um... hi! Er... uh... Roger: I'm thinking maybe I should remove these hot beverages and run.

At least Roger has the foresight to remove the hot beverages. After all, who wants to spend their Christmas in a burn ward?

Suddenly Andy once again becomes a child and the fear of mother’s wrath hangs heavy.

Yeah.. I’d have to agree with cleokaya.. Andy now remembers how her children feel when she surprises them doing something “bad”

She’s not afraid of being punished, she’s afraid of hurting her mom’s feelings when Grandma realizes how bitter Andy is.
Either way, Roger’s got a good plan!
