I wonder what was the prey of the lizard in the library? Did he find the adult section?

Too bad Barnes and Noble can’t be more like that. Ours is more like Chuck E Cheese.

I love Calvin’s imagination. But it sure gets him into trouble.

My computer got a coffee shower this morning when I read this one!

One must wonder at the nature of his triumph.

I’m sure that’s not the first or the last time he has been kicked out of the library.

How quickly the victor gets vanquished! Sic transit gloria mundi.

Maybe he was reading Michael Crichton’s “Jurassic Park” and just got swept up in the moment!

That was no wonder why Calvin was booted out from the library, because he broke the rule that he was supposed to be QUIET while he read the book at the library. Hee hee hee heeeee…..

This explains why I never see any Tyrannosaurus Rexs at the library.

Bill Watterson mentions this strip in his autobiography because it was the first time he drew a T-Rex and did not know at the time that they only have two fingers on their front limbs.

He could always blame it on Calvin – except that 6-year-old fans of dinosaurs would almost certainly know better!

I wonder what Calvin was upto in the library, which led to his ‘triumphant roar’ and finally the ‘boot’ out.

He was reading a book on dinos, and imagining he was a T-rex.

To topaz17: Yes: Jurassic Park is a great book, way better than the movie, author is Michael Crichton, it was written in the early 90’s.

Jurassic Park might be too long for calvin he was probably reading a picture book about (Mounstrous killer death lizards)

eye truly enjoy Calvin and his vivid over active imagination, although would probably hate such in my own children.
