Wonderful!

I’ve given up on balloons because a swollen head is not necessarily a good thing.

Shouldn’t have insulted it, Calvin. Payback is a stinker.

Finally another person who’s as inept at blowing up balloons as I am.

The worst part comes after…dizziness and delirium…

This balloon blows.

…when fully inflated reads “blowme”

Must have been a lead balloon.

… thus proving that Calvin is not a blowhard,

Next time don’t call the balloon dumb before you blow it. It is bound to take offence.

Reminds me of my childhood, when as Calvin is now I did not have sufficient lung power to blow a balloon!!! good ol’ days..

Oh and how your jaws hurt after trying to blow up a balloon!

I must be wary not to eat so much, that I look in this way, with bloated cheeks!

I never managed to inflate any baloons either, not as a kid or now that I’ve grown up. I pity the parent who has to inflate a pool toy for their kids…

Two words: Air Pump.

By the way to my fellow amateurs at blowing balloons .. there is a simply technique to it .. u just strech the narrow ones with one hand and blow using the other .. the balloon swells up in the middle where it is the weakest and spreads out .. you let go after it grows to a considerable size and continue blowing the conventional two handed way to the required size ..

Dont make it pop .. hurts like a Bit*# .. ;-) ..

spare the headaches and dizziness .. (u get to impress girls as well .. :-P )

2 Methods to blowing up a balloon

1 Stretch it in all directions first

2 Have your better half do it.

This would make a great animation if there were a few more cels to work with.

What’s even worse is to get one partially blown up and then all the air reverses and comes back down your throat.

Fill it with water…..Then throw it at someone.

I could always blow them up. But never quite got the hang of tying them. Very frustrating.

I think that even as an adult, I still don’t have the lung power to blow up one of those skinny balloons. And, I have even less patience for it now then I did as a kid!

Well, at least Calvin stopped before his head went up, up and away.

right calvin throw that dang thing away before your head blows up.

This brings back memories, it’s been years since I attempted to blow up a balloon but yeah I never could do it very well either or tie it!

The skinny ones are the hardest, but those who advocate pre-stretching are right. I have plenty of lung power, but I still sometimes have trouble with the long thin ones.

Another: Rent a Helium tank–then you can talk like a duck also!

Then once you’ve got them blown up, you have to tie the knot…something I was not good at with balloons.

At last I can admit I was never any good with dumb balloons Thanks to Calvin

haha that happens to me!! my cheeks blow up instead of the balloon, in a fit of it’s revenge. my head never blows up though…
