It’s peacefull now but why do I get the impression a war over marshmallows is about to break out.

Hobbes ruins the idyll again, he must start a quarrel! Bad Hobbes!

That’s why I like the Swiss Miss that comes with the mini-marshmallows already in it.

Inside next to a fire is the only good place to build a snow fort.

Calvin & Hobbes has always been one of my favorites. Sometimes funny and sometime cute. And, like today’s, sometimes sweet. But always good.

The visionaries need the builders, but we all need the visionaries first.

Today’s strip reminds me of the apres-ski ritual of getting out of the cold and snow to enjoy hot chocolate (or brandy) in front of the fireplace inside the ski lodge.

We used to have great fun planning and dreaming, too…

I wonder how ofter Calvin’s mother gets “that look”?

Now Now boys. One divides, one decides, one steals the bag of marshmellows when Mom isn’t looking.

Why couldn’t you just turn and shake your head Hobbes… I’ve heard Calvin call you “Marshmallow Brain” a dozen times!

The best of wars were all planned indoors over a cup of hot chocolate.

I like Altoids in my hot chocolate! Mmm…mmm! Hobbes you can have my marshmellows.

Imagination is such a wonderful thing.

henebry This isn’t bad at all, compared to the Sunday edition of Marmaduke and Strange Brew over at Comics.com. You really need a good magnifying glass over there for those particular Sunday strips - though the dailies are ok.

Thank you very much bleepingdeadalien just one click on my left mouse button and like magic there was the comic bigger and easier to read. And the art looks better too!

henebry - For me, often the enlarged comic still isn’t large enough. When that happens, I download it and view it in ACDSee. It’s a little fuzzy that way, but a little easier to read anyway. I almost always do that for the Sunday Annie and the Sunday Mutt & Jeff.

the best buds ever

I wish I could drink hot chocolate. Out east news on GMA showed a man who built on igloo from the snow and ice, to cold for me but the man was making it home with TV. It was sometime during late last week. I rather be a a nice warm fire or somewhat warm comfortable house.

I often find that “enlarging” the weekend comics makes them smaller – I’m getting that today with C&H. I rely on “Ctrl+” and “Ctrl-” to do the job.

just like kids to fight over who got more of something then the other. even if the kid complaining is a stuffed tiger.
