I used to work at a place where I was the only one who didn’t smoke (except one of the bosses). Everyone would step outside a couple times an hour, for a good 10 -15 minutes, while I sat inside doing all the work.
After a while, I got fed up with having to do their work and not getting to take any breaks. Whenever they went for their smoke breaks I began going out for “air breaks”.
It’s simply AMAZING how fast those smoking breaks got regulated after that!!
Good for you, MamaTaney. I worked at a place where my supervisor smoked and would go outside to do so but she still smelled of it when she returned. If someone smokes near me, my own clothes pick up the smell.
