I used to ask my wife why she irons my jeans. then I saw George Strait in concert and guesss what, his jeans were creased!
Then I started to notice the rodeo cowboys all had there jeans creased.
Now I wear them with good ol American Cowboy pride.
Long ago I read the story of when Levi and his cronies would field test the trousers. One evening while knealed around the campfire the bottom reinforcement copper rivet got hot and delivered a few messages.
Next day the Levi’s factory discontinued installing that one rivet.
If you take your first two fingers and run them down your levis while they’re still damp and hang them up, the creases will stay. (I’ve been single all my life 60 yrs. old)

I would think a string tie would go along with this get-up
