I too have no illusions about myself. Delusions, now that is another story.

She wasted a zap for no good reason.

It’s the old philosophers question. How can I prove that I actually exist outside of my own imagination? Do you exist or are you only a creation of my mind?

My own existence is the only thing I can be certain of. As for others? Well… I don’t remember who said it (I think it was Thoreau or Emerson) or the exact wording, but I like “Treat other people as if they’re real, because perhaps they are.”
