At their age, I rearranged my room so often that the dust came off in the process and didn’t have a chance to settle before the next time.
Since I had good furniture meant to last until I was 16 (Grandparents bought each of us a set that would be ours then) and a few handmade quilts (classic patterns, I chose the main colors) instead of cheap stuff, that was how I expressed myself (besides knickknacks)!
BTW I turned 16 in ‘95, so late enough to be a bit unusual, meaning the not redoing everything constantly part!
