A while back a few of us from the local astronomy club were asked to come to a local church camp, set up and show the 8th graders that were camping for the weekend some different scopes and pick out some constellations. We asked the nun in charge toward the end why they waited until the middle of Oct to camp. LOVED her response. “It’s too cold for them to NOT wear clothes and non of them decide to try and go skinny dipping.”
