When we were kids, our dentist used to be a butcher at the corner grocery store (before graduating from dental school.) Apparently that’s good training, because he was the best dentist I have ever had.
What is really strange is that years after the grocery store closed, he and another dentist converted it into offices for themselves. I guess he just couldn’t get away from his roots (no pun intended.)

When I was a youth, two of the 3 dentists at the clinic I went to were Dr. Strong and Dr. Payne.
