If that’s an homage to volunteer week it *is*subtle!!

Thought-rupees , Bank-rupees , maybe not .

I think he’s had an epiphany.

volunteer week, I don’t need someone to tell me to volunteer for anything especially the president or any one that is rich that they think they know it all.

I volunteered as a firefighter for 10 years and served in the miltary and reserves (also volunteered) for 22 years. Is that enough or need I do more? If so, I shall. No one needs to tell me to, I just know. There are many more like me, both conservative and liberal, old and young, rich and poor.

This strip reminds me of something that I saw in a Calvin & Hobbes strip once (I think); Calvin grabs his hairline and pulls back, the top of his head coming off as easily as a garbage can lid. You then see is brain hop out and hop away. He later explains to Miss Wormwood “No, I can’t do math today. I let my mind wander and it didn’t come back”.

Especially if you’re a bank president.
