When everything went off the rails, Charlie felt like he was hit by a freight train.

I’d prefer that to her peeing into a letterbox.

Things are getting scary indeed in Cleveland. I think it’s the spirit of the evil cat that plagues Cleo to this day.

    Thanks, Dennis… but too late….

I dozed off while waiting for the comics pages to open…

and when I woke up…. there it was! Right in front of my eyes.

I caught a horrible glimpse of a demon cat!

I only survived by putting my hand up in front of panel four, as quickly as I could.

But the strip will be continued, and I’m sure it’ll get harder to watch….

    I don’t have THREE hands!

I think I’ll put a popcorn popper behind the couch, and just settle in for the next 10 days. Coming, Montana Lady?

I saw a poster for a human version of this movie.

Why would they copy this one?

I’ve never seen a human mother worried about demon cats… humans seem to like the little furry things.

And look…. to make a poster, I think all they did was take out the word “Basset” from the one in this strip…. and shorten the priest’s (?) nose (or whoever that is.)

If the train does go in one of Charlie’s ears, and out the other, as Marg was wondering…

it will certainly give new meaning to the phrase “train of thought”.

    His will be changed forever.

That poor child. It has to be that evil cat next door who did it. Maybe that evil cat can also possess the people who run this site and make them put these comics on the main page. There are new ones and others that have been off the page for years, like Outland and the third run of Dragon Girl, which I like, and others that are just being re-run. When are they going to change the fix-it date to 2020 and never do anything else?

If I was the Basset Exorcist on Wednesday I’d put a water pistol in my Exorcism Kit and really go to town on that demon cat.

Poor Mrs. McHound. She’s finally realizing her precious little puppy is acting normally. For a teenager.

Oh wait, that was before I saw panel number 4. Eeeeekkkk! It’s too terrible to watch. Quick. Where’s the couch.

And now we know what that green vomit in the human version really was – an inadequate substitute for hairballs with green grass plus the occasional bits of half digested food.

Yes; we live with a cat. How did you guess?
