Mud schmud. I can ride my motorcycle again without fifty gazillion layers! =)

This would be a good time to make a witty observation, but honestly, I’m just happy that Spring is coming.

I didn’t think girls played in the mud.

I sure hope that it’s mud. The way it’s steaming in the first frame…

She has become SWAMP THING.

Mud is non-gender specific. My daughter loves it.

As BinaryWiener says, mudpacks have long been a staple of the makeover. I had a Dennis The Menace: Sunday Funnies collection from around 1956 where Alice was forced to take Dennis along when going to Chez Henri’s for her makeover–and Dennis happened to go into the mudpack room.

And, Danae’s skin will stay glowing due to mudpacking.

Mud was the most awesome toy when I was a kid. Cheap too!

It happens to me every year. February and March come, buds and shoots start appear. I think spring has arrived and right now, I’m looking out the window and snow is falling and sticking. Drat!!!

Firstly, Danae needs to go taking the bath after she had mud slime all over her. Secondly, I have snow in Reno/Sparks, NV. Spring is not coming sooner yet. Oh bummer!

Mud? Mud season? ‘Round here, the tundra is still frozen at 2 F (-17C), the snow still flying, and Spring is nowhere in sight. Maybe in six more weeks…

I am grteatly relieved, yet astonished that no one (so far) has made something political of this.

sorry, the coffee just kicked in. we didn’t look for eight years and look what shrub did to us!

Mom spends a hundred bucks for a mud treatment and then yells at the kids for getting them for nothing.

Oh the humanity.

Depends on the girl. Her sister probably wouldn’t play with mud. And Dad, remember yesterday, she’ll always be your little girl.
