Dunno what it is about Seattle, but between the Seattle PI online and the Seattle Times online, for a few years now I’ve been following several strips that I couldn’t find elsewhere. From the links along the side, often I seem to know more about what’s going on in Seattle than about what’s going on in KC.

More likely, Lars is afraid of the apes evolving and taking over the planet…

I’d wear a shirt that said that.

Hate to say it Wiley, but in this current climate being “apolitical” has the same negative ring as “atheism”.

Both are the new f-words of right-wingers of the two competing world “religions”..

I like the T-shirt idea. It sounds like good advice. Always stear clear of anyone professing to be ‘A Prophet of Destiny’.

Perhaps it’s the Belching of the Apes that gives concern about global warming. Other than that, I must say ?!?!?!? about the global warming connection.

Wiley, I think it would be a great idea but instead of directing that command to ‘lizard boy’, It’d be better if it’s replaced with …….&……….. I just leave it blank in case the Western hemisphere finds it offensive.

i don’t see any political connections in this strip either, but then, i’m not one to go looking for them everywhere i turn and in everything i read - since i’m not obsessive that way.

Wiley: 1. as 4deer suggests, with the panel art, I would go big time for the shirt. 2. The global warming thought probably comes from the cubic tons of methane which will be released by all those belches. no?

Anyone who didn’t read the comic strip wouldn’t understand it, but it would amuse the rest of us. yes I think the shirt is a great idea.

I think Lars is worried that the monkeys will find out that Apes became the dominant species on Earth 1.0 after the Dinosaurs were exterminated and get ideas of their own.

The only thing Danae and Jeffery have to worry about is running out of gas…because when they do ….and they will the apes will realize they are fakes. I think that may be what Lars was worried about.

I changed my mind. Word balloon without art. More surreal that way. Not that it isn’t plenty surreal as is….
