1960 is actually pretty modern for Mutt and Jeff. A lot of the “jokes” remind me of the Crosby and Hope “Road” movies. The 30s and 40s jokes tend to be the cutest.
I’d say the 1940s. She has a 40s doo.
40s at least, Mutt and Jeff have been around a long time. I remember them from in the 50s as well.
Since the date on the tree is 1960, I’d go with that.
