Wouldn’t it be easier to just PRETEND they switched places? Since we can’t tell the difference anyway… (It’d make more sense if they both went as her this year, and him next year. They could carry an empty picture frame and pretend they were mirror images of each other.)

Heart and Dean once changed places, Just to see the look on people’s faces. But the glue, it did stick, And now they’re in a fix, Thanks to costumes that cost the same as shoelaces.
