When a bunny is in our yard, my lab Cleo looks up, thinks the situation over and if usually decides there is no percentage in giving chase. Once in a blue moon she may make a half-hearted trot, but never with intent. Oh and yes Brian, we have lots of nice young kids on the lake for Sophie to visit.
Once owned a brindled greyhound named Angel while stationed in the Netherlands…My Dutch neighbors changed her name to “Duivel” (Devil) cause she’d chase & catch rabbits & leave them on random doorsteps.
