I was walking my dog last fall and we passed a house with Halloween decorations. She decided to give a sniff to a large treasure box. As she did, it began to open. My big, brave protector let out a loud yelp and hid behind my legs.
My dog was scared of the strangest things. When we’d go for walks he’d curve his path to put the greatest possible distance between himself and such things as parked motorcycles, open garage doors, street-corner trash cans…
Side to side, side to side, not stopping to sniff the unfamiliar like a NORMAL dog, but giving a wide berth to anything at all out of the ordinary.
He was also kind of useless as a chick magnet. We’d go to the park, and any time a woman would come over and try to say hello, he’d hide behind my legs.

When patrolling the perimeter, dogs know what should be where & when changed it takes ‘em by surprise, especially coming ‘round a corner.

I agree, it looks a bit intimidating. Like a vacuum cleaner.

You can never be too careful about strollers! I’ve been attacked by strollers many times at malls!

Sophie thinks it is a night stroller (a take on night stalker.)
