Wow an actual Ent in person. I didn’t know they were real! No wonder they’re both so surprised.

They don’t speak often, and when they do, low attention span kids don’t hear them.

I guess nothing is insignificant with the right people behind you.

Slight changes, once again, make this strip awesome. The tree doesn’t move, but the shading changes, and suddenly, it’s totally believable that the tree is talking… ish. By the way, Doug and Sophie’s parents must have bought a HUGE back yard.

cool, i thought ents only lived in middle earth. boy was i wrong.
