You’re right, Joe Allen Doty. This strip misses the mark completely, because Pollock placed his canvasses on the floor while working on them, not on the wall! Even Labrador puppies and babies know THAT!
It’s appalling that cartoonists try to pass such shoddy workmanship off on the public. I mean, it’s one thing to ask the audience to suspend disbelief, but giving us an egregious error like this and expecting us to let it slide by? This Anderson guy has some nerve!
