Susan, I read your recent comment on yesterday’s (2009) Ballard Street, Sounds like you are safe, in your part of town. but how sad to have so much devastation surrounding you. I am sure that you will be one of those who helps put this community back together in the aftermath of this disaster.

Some humans out and out STOLE Stelbel’s work!

They didn’t have any fine basset actors, or any amazing flying corn….

Or an exciting story about vegetable/basset hound hybrids..

They didn’t, apparently, even have access to greater Cleveland, the film capital of… um…. well…. it’s a film capital, believe me.

So they couldn’t use any of that stuff in the plot or title.

They just made a totally ordinary space opera, with ordinary aliens…

but copied the cabbage make-up and faked the terror, just to use StelBel’s fabulous poster design!

Clara will terrify all the Veggie Bassets when she takes a vegi-burger to the movie and eats it right in front of them.

Stel and I kinda switched things around this week….after she coined the moniker ‘Veggie-Bassets’ , we each did our

own interpretation of that horrifying combination..tomorrow’s comic is my version.

Stel will have another poster Wednesday and We’ll have a new animation on Thursday.

Plant-based lifeforms. I love it!

No vegetables were harmed in the making of this poster. But they came oh-so-close to being steamed.

This was a really great poster, Stel!!! I especially liked the flying cornsaucers, Scary. Electrifying. Hair-raising. And just plain FUN!

I love this poster, too. Very creative, Stel! I want to see the disembodied paw that crawls.
