*MY* church doesn’t give tithes and offerings that way (passing a plate during services); we put into separate envelopes and hand it to him. Then it goes to charity and other beneficial things. So my minister has his own job which is Edward Jones Accounting; being the minister is a volunteer thing which lasts a few years (no pastoral degree from a theological seminary required).
