Alice: I always think it's so sad to see all of the Halloween decorations put away, don't you? mom: No time to mourn....in a week I'll be hauling out the Christmas junk.
There are Thanksgiving decorations. Dried corn (sold in nurseries and craft stores). Cornucopias. Also the kind of things elementary schools decorate with such as turkey cutouts (paper). Admittedly, these are inside decorations, not exterior decorations, except for dried corn, which can be put on a fall-themed wreath on an outside door.
Destiny > I put the Christmas decorations up after December 5.
That’s a special Dutch holiday called “Sinterklaas”.
If you think that sounds a lot like Santa Claus, you’re right.
Santa Claus comes from Sinterklaas.

Why wait a week? The weather’s only gonna make it harder the later you wait!

I saw a couple putting up their tree in their front window last night. And the jack O’ Lantern’s not even cold yet.

I almost wish there were Thanksgiving decorations, so as not to rush things.

What? You’ve got a whole week to mourn.

You don’t HAVE to put up the Christmas junk so soon! You need to learn to resist peer pressure!!
The Christmas Tree should ALWAYS be put up Christmas Eve, so it’s special on Christmas morning.
